Loud Forest: Back to Their Roots with Family Tree
Southern California duo – Loud Forest – is back with another telling album full of childhood upbringing stories, hence the title Family Tree. The married couple, Bernard and Rachel Chadwick, navigate topics of violence, control, addiction and love in the 12 track project.
Family Tree was recorded during lockdown, on the duo’s own, similar to the DIY fashion of their first album. The two have been known for their innovative indie style.
From upbeat jams like “I Don’t Want To Go Home” and “Don’t Go Away” to mellow tunes like “Easy to Love” and “Little Bird ” to alt rock bangers like “Rage” and “Radiant Beauty”, this duo brings us a culmination of moods and sounds, all stemming from honest lyricism.
Loud Forest brought us back to their roots with Family Tree, and we can’t wait to hear more from the powerful pair!
