Listen to Mitski’s Two New Songs “Star” and “Heaven”

Mitski has released two new singles “Star” and “Heaven” off of her upcoming seventh album The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We. Listen to the new tracks below.

The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We is scheduled to be released on September 15 via Dead Oceans.

Mitski has also announced she’ll step into the live performance spotlight this fall. According to a release, she’ll play six intimate acoustic sets across Europe and the UK in October. Presale for those shows on Thursday September 7 with on sale the following day, Friday September 8. Here are the show dates:

Sat. Oct. 7 – Edinburgh, UK @ Queens Hall

Mon. Oct. 9 – Manchester, UK @ Albert Hall

Wed. Oct. 11 – London, UK @ Union Chapel

Sat. Oct. 14 – Berlin, DE @ Babylon

Mon. Oct. 16 – Utrecht, NL @ Tivoli / Vredenburg

Fri. Oct. 20 – Paris, FR @ Le Trianon

The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We was recorded at both the Bomb Shelter in East Nashville and Los Angeles based Sunset Sound Studios. Mitski collaborated with longtime producer Patrick Hyland on the album.

Mitski returned to the music world with another new song “Bug Like An Angel” on July 26. She released a music video for that track.
