The Neighbourhood “To Imagine” EP Review
The California rock band, The Neighbourhood, released their new EP To Imagine. The five track EP gives a hint on what the band has been working on and what’s to come this 2018.
To Imagine is definitely a new sound steering towards an electro-pop sound with some 1980s influence with drums and vocals.
The track “Dust” opens up the album isolating lead singer Jesse Rutherford’s vocals in the track taking us into this journey of mellow tracks with hard hitting instruments and deep dark lyrics. “Scary Love” explores about experiencing someone that cares about someone, but pushes them away.
“Compass” explores the experimental sound of dark 80s pop. “Stuck with Me” is a mellow track that isolates Rutherford’s vocals over an intense driven synth.
