Top 10 Singles for the week of October 20, 2017:
- “Gorgeous” – Taylor Swift
Taylor gives us another glimpse in to just what reputation era holds. In this new track, we have even more evidence that this will be the edgiest Taylor yet.
- “Bedroom Floor” – Liam Payne
The third single from Liam follows suit of debut single “Strip That Down” just with a shot of heartache; showing that there’s more to his songwriting than just a good beat.
- “Anywhere” – Rita Ora
From her forthcoming, untitled second effort, “Anywhere” stays true to Rita’s sound that she crafted in earlier work that will be sure to be a great addition to any dance party playlist.
- “Meaning of Life” – Kelly Clarkson
Kelly Clarkson’s title track may just be some of her best work yet; the artist is coming clean with that poppy, angsty vibe we know and love from her and we are obsessed.
- “Kids in Love” – Kygo (feat. The Night Game)
A sweet piano pop ballad that will be sure to pull at your heartstrings and take you back in time to those high school days.
- “Miss Me More” – Kelsea Ballerini
Another single from her upcoming release, Unapologetically is just what we needed. Kelsea is reclaiming herself in this angry, revenge track and telling that ex she misses herself more.
- “Home” (From the Motion Picture “Ferdinand”) – Nick Jonas
“Ferdinand,” an animated movie slated for the theaters on December 15, features this anthemic track from Nick. The perfect upbeat track for any road trip.
- “Whiskey” – Maroon 5 (feat. A$AP Rocky)
As the fifth track from Maroon 5’s upcoming release, Red Pills Blues it’s easy to see that the sound for this album is really coming together. The loosely R&B based modern pop is the perfect balance that will really make this release great.
- “Little Dark Age” – MGMT
It’s pretty much a known fact that MGMT like to do things a little differently. This track is no different — it’s the perfect addition to your Halloween playlist with its dark and haunting vibe with a good beat that will still be sure to get everyone up and dancing.
- “One Chance to Dance” – Naughty Boy (feat. Joe Jonas)
A track that has been years in the making, finally sees the light of day when Joe Jonas signs on. Also rumored to initially have been a track for ZAYN, Joe takes the reins and gives us a pop anthem that was just what we needed (even if we didn’t know it). He may not be Michael Jackson, but we’d still dance with him.
