NewDad Announce ‘Safe’ EP and Add London Show to Debut New Songs

Irish indie rock band NewDad have announced a new EP titled Safe. It’s scheduled to come out on May 2 and will be the group’s first extended release since their acclaimed debut album MADRA  came out in January 2024. The group has gone on since to tour the world, and they’re scheduled for many major festivals in 2025. Their latest single “Under My Skin” arrived in September 2024.

NewDad also shared that they will debut songs from the Safe EP at a special show at The Dome in London, United Kingdom on May 14. Tickets for that show go on sale at 5 p.m. local time at this link.

“This group of songs were born in London,” the band told fans in a newsletter Monday morning. “They’re about navigating this city and industry and how difficult it can be to keep your sense of self. We hold these songs very close to our hearts and hope ye love them as much as we do.”

The Safe EP will feature four new songs. Scroll to check out the tracklist. The band will release 1,000 limited edition vinyl pressings of the EP. Pre-save and pre-order a copy of the EP here.

NewDad announced last month in an Instagram post that bassist Cara Joshi had departed the band.
