Who doesn’t love a good co-headling tour? Great Good Fine Ok and Smallpools played The Foundry at the Fillmore in Philadelphia on June 6th as a part of their Spring is Sprung Tour. The crowd was hyped up by opening band, Half the Animal, who covered Childish Gambino’s “Redbone” as well as The 1975’s “Chocolate.” When they walk out on stage and immediately throw glow sticks into the crowd, you know you’re about to witness a fun set. Great Good Fine Ok’s synth-pop music sure knows how to make you dance. Add a few keytar solos and the crowd goes wild. The energy continued with Smallpool’s set. A crowd favorite is “Killer Whales” in which the band throws an inflatable killer whale into the crowd for entirety of the song. The band played a mix of old favorites as well as their new single “Stumblin’ Home.” Be sure to catch these bands live – you won’t be disappointed.
