After an incredibly successful release of Sleep Well Beast, The National’s next album is already on the way. After the announcement of the short film, I Am Easy To Find, The National released “You Had Your Soul With You” and now, they’ve added “Light Years” to their roster of songs that continue to make a massive impression on their listeners.
As part of a short film, The National plans include screenings of the short film with the same name during select performances as part of the “A Special Evening With The National” series. In an email to their fan club members, the band said, “The former is not the video for the latter; the latter is not the soundtrack to the former.”
