Tennessee native Olivia Holt isn’t just a Disney star actress anymore. She’s taking her voice to greater heights with her music, and we’re in love with what she has to say. She was only 3 when Holt started to sing and act.
First, after taking time to pursue her career, Holt became a member of the Disney stable. She found exposure by doing sitcoms while in her early teens. It all became the norm for the Starlet since growing up in family theatre camps and acting coaches. Nothing was new under the sun, which proved Holt to be a natural even at an early age.
In 2011, Holt landed her first major sitcom role with the Disney show Kickin’ It, and the following year starred in the movie Girl. vs. Monster. During that time, Holt began pursuing a music career, something she’s always wanted to do. After leaving Kickin’ It and going onto another role for I Didn’t Do It, the blonde beauty announced that she had signed to Hollywood Records. Ever since then, she has been working hard to create the best music possible for her fans.
May of 2016, Holt released her debut EP entitled Olivia giving us a taste of what’s to come for the actress and singer. The lead single ‘Phoenix’ has proved that Holt has what it takes to make in the industry. She’s not a pop princess but an empowering soldier who has what it takes to sing it loud and have a voice that will be heard. She’s a Phoenix rising from the ground, and that alone is why we love her.
