Blondshell played to a sold out crowd at the legendary Metro in Chicago, Illinois on Friday the 13th. There were no scary feelings though–the indie rockstar is in the midst of a successful world tour supporting her latest album If You Asked For A Picture, which was released by Partisan Records this May. The buzz surrounding the record and the at-capacity crowd made for a fun evening. “You are a great sounding crowd,” Blondshell told her fans early on in the set. “Let’s keep singing.” The more than 1,100 attendees happily obliged.

Blondshell played it all. She opened her set with the poppy tune “23’s A Baby,” from If You Asked For A Picture, plus broke out her latest album’s lead single and anthemic rock banger “T&A.” Her acclaimed LP Blondshell was also a central focus throughout the show. Concertgoers sang along to that record’s hit songs “Olympus,” “Kiss City,” plus the show’s encore finale “Salad.”

There were some nice surprises for fans too. Blondshell performed her take on Addison Rae’s hit pop song “Diet Pepsi.” Blondshell actually shared her rendition of the single on streaming services this week. “This is one of my favorite songs and it was written by a woman,” Blondshell proclaimed before playing her version.

Fans on the East Coast of the United States and Canada and those abroad in Europe still have plenty of chances to catch Blondshell on tour. The artist will perform a number of shows in North America throughout June 2025 before skipping across the Atlantic to play shows in the EU and United Kingdom this July and September.
