Born At Midnite Announce Debut Album, Share Lead Single “Smash”

Montreal post-party pop duo Born At Midnite have announced their first full-length album. Eternal BAM Nation will be released on June 26 via Arbutus Records. The LP will include 11 total songs, including a new single out today titled “Smash.” Check out the full tracklist below. Read on to view the album’s cover art.

Modern music and art fans may be familiar with Born At Midnite’s two members: Singer Amery Sandford is an accomplished Canadian artist. She designs the band’s art and has had a solo career as Alpen Glow, and most recently shared the underground pop darling phenom record Continue As Amery in 2024 under her own name. David Carriere is known for numerous roles in the music industry, including work as a producer, songwriter, and most notably, as guitarist in the bands TOPS and Marci.

“Smash” is described by the band as a two minute anthem in two parts. It begins with a hyper-petty, hyper-speed diss track dedicated to a loser ex-boyfriend, and ends in a drowsy celebration hanging with your friends in the park after dark.
