K-Pop has completely taken over the world and maintains an immense influence on the music industry today. South Korean group SEVENTEEN is no different being one of the biggest groups on the planet, with billions of streams and over 4 million albums sold, the 13 members have seen an unprecedented amount of success since the start of their career in 2013. Their latest mini-album, Heng:garæ, which dropped this past June sold over 1 million copies in the first week making them the only Korean act, other than BTS, to sell 1 million copies during release week.

The lead-single “HOME;RUN” is the embodiment of the album, taking the infamous saying “work hard, play hard” to new heights as the song expresses to have fun while you can with a swing-based beat that elevates the track while also giving a fun take on a baseball “home run” metaphor. Matching the retro swing-jazz single, is the drama-packed music video including expected, but still astounding choreography and fashion. Including the lead-single, the six-song special album includes an array of genres including retro-funk, latin and pop as the guys continue to push themselves in their lyrics and production in their songs “Do Re Mi,” “HEY BUDDY,” “Light a Flame,” “AH! LOVE” and “All My Love.”
