Tame Impala Announce New Album ‘Deadbeat’
There will be a new Tame Impala album released in 2025. Kevin Parker will share the record Deadbeat on October 17. It’ll be the first new Tame Impala LP since 2020’s The Slow Rush. Check out Deadbeat’s album art below.
Deadbeat will feature 12 songs, including the latest Tame Impala single “Loser.” The record was largely produced between Parker’s hometown of Fremantle and his studio, Wave House in Injidup, Western Australia during the six months of 2025.
Lyrically, Deadbeat will follow Parker channeling an endless bummer, with words focused on self-deprecation. Musically, the record is expected to sound euphoric and encourage dancing. According to Parker’s representatives, Deadbeat explores raving as self-enquiry and the idea of self-medicating in place of self-care.
Fans can pre-order copies of Deadbeat here.
