Zach Templar, the UK-Colombian pop rock artist with an attentive fanbase, has announced his highly anticipated debut EP in waves will arrive April 11.

“In waves is about my nostalgia and reminiscing of stories of the past and the present,” said Templar about his new EP. “While I’ve previously written about love and everything that comes with it, this project feels more personal to me; it speaks of the times of darkness but also pure light.”
Templar, who is only 18, first hinted at the new EP in an exclusive interview with Beyond The Stage in November 2024. He’s recently sold out shows in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles as part of his first U.S. tour. The young artist has also performed at the historic Reading Festival. Templar is widely known for his origin story, where he wrote and recorded songs on a laptop in his bedroom. His songs, including the top track “missin something” are wildly popular on TikTok.
